Potent touring pedelec
With a sporty drive, torsion-resistant frame, grippy studded tires, but also with a Carrier, bright LED Light and all the equipment required by law: The "eAdventure 8.8" is a potent companion for all touring riders who don't want to stop at sandy forest trails on their extended routes and like to turn off onto the next easy single trail.
The developers at VICTORIA have consistently continued the combination of everyday and touring suitability or the bridging of the gap between eTouring bikes and classic E-MTBs in the equipment of the "eAdventure 8.8". The Shimano Steps E7000 drive, with its 60 Nm of power and in combination with the 1x10-speed Shimano Deore derailleur gears, can take many an E-Fully up the mountains.
Its 504 Wh battery is long-lasting on tours. It is semi-integrated into the down tube of the frame, making it just as practical to charge as it is to look at. The powerful Shimano BR-MT420 front (203 mm, 4 pistons) and MT410 rear (180 mm, 2 pistons) disc brakes are also standard equipment on E-MTBs and give the VICTORIA "eAdventure 8.8" that extra bit of safety on all descents.
The SR Suntour Mobie Suspension Fork hints at what the "eAdventure 8.8" can do off-road: adjustable to the rider, with lockout from the Handlebar, stable with a tapered shaft, secured by the QR 15 Thru Axles and with 75 mm travel almost a cross-country suspension fork. On top of that, it also holds the Front Light. With its 120 lux, the new CONTEC Luna Front Light takes the fear out of even the deepest forest or dimly lit country roads. The rear lights, on the other hand, score points in road traffic with their stop light function.
The Schwalbe Smart Sam Plus can also handle city and forest roads. Its studs grip firmly on loose forest ground, while its mandatory Reflective Stripes ensure visibility in the city. Incidentally, the "eAdventure 8.8" runs on sturdy 27.5 wheels, which is also a borrowing from sporty MTBs.
The "Curana Apollo" Fenders keep mud and wetness safely at bay. The rear fender is also held in place by the upper strut of the Carrier. The MIK system luggage carrier, in turn, accommodates all standard click systems for bags and baskets and all the seven things you need for your bike trip.
Visually, the new frame shape is closely based on the new "eTouring" series from VICTORIA, but the bottom bracket is set higher for more ground clearance on rough terrain, both on the Gent and Wave frames.
