Sporty drives for long day trips
New look, new drive: The developers at VICTORIA are launching the established "eTouring 12.9" on the market with yet another improvement. The new design gives the already slim e-bike a fresher look. Two paints and the reduced brand lettering are the results of the makeover.
Technically new is the 11-speed SHIMANO "Deore XT" gear system, which is designed for steep climbs and fast descents with its gear ratios. The rear derailleurs are extremely light and the gears can be shifted quickly. The Linkglide technology makes it robust and durable. Driven by the sporty "STEPS E7000" drivetrain, they make a powerful duo that plays to its strengths on changing terrain. The long-range 630 Wh Battery, which is fully integrated into the down tube, ensures long tours. Powerful hydraulic Disc Brakes, also from the Japanese manufacturer, ensure the right level of safety in just such scenarios.
Suspension components are the be-all and end-all when comfort is paramount. Just like on the "eTouring 12.9". Here it's the seatpost and the Suspension Fork. The latter has a suspension travel of 63 mm and can be locked if necessary. The wide CONTINENTAL tires support the comfort aspect, but also ensure balanced traction and cornering grip thanks to their tread pattern.
For the all-round carefree package, the e-bike is equipped with a MIK system carrier, very bright LED lighting and Fenders. The rear lights have a stop light function that allows following cyclists to react better.
