The premium equipment consisting of the sporty BOSCH "Performance CX" engine and the high-range "PowerTube 625" Battery continue to make the eTrekking 12.9 the top model with derailleur gears. The e-bike has been given a fresh coat of paint with the new two-tone design and the reduced VICTORIA lettering.
The eTrekking 12.9 gets its tidy appearance from the fact that the 625 Wh Battery is fully integrated into the Frame. Extensive tours can be started harmoniously and continued in a sporty manner with the large battery capacity and the 85 Nm engine. The 10-speed "Deore" derailleur gears from SHIMANO with their gear ratio and gear gradation are designed precisely for such scenarios - and also for when things go downhill quickly on the other side. The Linkglide technology makes it much crisper to operate. Wear becomes noticeable more slowly. Reliable brakes are the be-all and end-all in mountainous terrain and in the city. The hydraulic Disc Brakes from SHIMANO can be finely controlled, but react with a lot of bite when it counts.
The BOSCH "Smartphonehub", with which the pedelec is equipped, is a real networker. With a linked smartphone and app, it becomes a control center that navigates, records activities and can connect to other apps and services. The four available support modes can also be set via the app.
The suspension components such as the Fork and Seatpost come into their own when touring over cobblestones in the city center or on an uneven forest path. The wide and robust "Marathon" tires from SCHWALBE provide additional damping, but shine above all with their high puncture protection.
On the way home, the 120 lux Front Light shines brightly and makes you clearly visible to other road users. The rear light with stop light function gives other cyclists the chance to react more quickly to spontaneous braking maneuvers. The eTrekking can be easily recharged at the end of the day using the plug on the down tube so that it is ready for the next tour.
