Review VICTORIA eManufaktur 11.8
"Craftmanship"
With a small but fine series, VICTORIA integrates models with SHIMANO steps drives in their assortment. The top-of-the-range model with the electronic 5-speed internally geared hub offers the option of fully automatic or manual shifting thanks to the "Di2" version. This makes the eTouring 11.9 particularly interesting for demanding everyday riders who care less about technology and more about riding themselves. Together with the low-maintenance belt, this is also possible with out difficulty.

Review VICTORIA eManufaktur 11.8
"Crafts-
manship"
VICTORIA has revised its premium trekking e-bike series and equipped it with the ability to handle a XL load capacity. The Elektrobike editorial team recently was able to convince itself of this in an extensive review.
Contrary to the review, the high-quality e-bike series eManufaktur is not (any longer) assembled by hand in a separate factory in Lower Saxony. Nevertheless, it offers “a sleek style” when it comes to design:
“The bike looks sporty with its sloping top tube, the prominent bend behind the stem and the offset seatstays.”
But a sporty natural is not what was intended in the development specifications. Because "it also offers a lot of comfort with its ergonomic grips, the clearly offset handlebar and the rather wide, tightly padded saddle. Practical features include the frame lock for quick stops on the go, the rack which can handle up to 27 kilograms with double pannier rails, top spring and MIK system, and the handle underneath the saddle. This is especially useful for moving and carrying the 29-kilogram touring e-bike.”
The combination of dynamics and comfort is also evident in the sitting position, “which comfortably maintains the balance between upright and sporty-stretch and allows fine adjustment thanks to the stem.”
"The eManufaktur tracks really well, even with gear it stays true. At the same time, it can be precisely controlled in corners. The feedback is always accurate, not at all imprecise. Ground contact is almost always maintained, even on rough surfaces, thanks to wide Continental tyres and air-suspended fork (80 mm).”
However, not only the riding behaviour, but also the components are of course particularly important in this premium segment;
“The low-maintenance drivetrain consisting of the Bosch CX engine, carbon belt and Shimano’s Inter 5E internally geared hub is a lot of fun. The large belt sprocket makes it easy to overcome steep climbs, especially since the strong Bosch always provides enough support.”
